Read the FAQ →RevBook ("we", "us", or "our") is an online booking platform that connects customers with licensed independent mechanics and mobile auto shops. We are not a mechanic, repair shop, or automotive service provider. We provide the technology to facilitate bookings only.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your province, to create an account or submit a booking on RevBook.
RevBook acts solely as a marketplace and booking intermediary. The service agreement for any automotive work is between you (the customer) and the mechanic directly. RevBook is not a party to that agreement and accepts no liability for the quality, safety, or outcome of any automotive services performed.
Payment for services is made directly to the mechanic. No payments are processed through RevBook.
All mechanics listed on RevBook are required to confirm they hold a valid Certificate of Qualification (310S or 310T) as issued by the Province of Ontario. RevBook collects this declaration but does not independently verify credentials. Customers are encouraged to confirm credentials directly with their mechanic.
Submitting a booking request does not guarantee an appointment. Bookings are confirmed at the mechanic's discretion. If you need to cancel or reschedule, contact the mechanic directly using the information provided in your confirmation, or use the cancel option on your booking tracking page.
If a mechanic does not respond to a booking request, we send automated email and text reminders to the mechanic at increasing intervals. If there is still no response within approximately 12 hours of the original request, the booking automatically expires and is treated as declined. We are not responsible for delays, missed reminders, or expirations caused by outages of third-party notification providers (email or SMS), incorrect contact information on file, or a mechanic's own unavailability.
Creating an account is optional. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for the accuracy of the information you provide. RevBook will not share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to facilitate your booking.
By submitting a booking or creating an account, you consent to receive booking-related messages by email and text message (SMS), including appointment confirmations, status updates, and reminders. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text message to opt out. These messages are transactional and necessary to facilitate your booking — they are not marketing communications.
When you submit a booking, your name, phone number, email, vehicle information, and (for mobile mechanic service) your service address are shared with the mechanic you have booked. This information is necessary to facilitate your appointment. We do not sell your personal data.
If you use the VIN scanner, the photo you take or upload is sent to a third-party AI service to read the VIN and look up your vehicle's details. We don't use these photos for anything else, and we don't recommend including your license plate, surroundings, or other identifying information in the frame if you'd rather avoid capturing it.
Address lookups (used to help you enter your service address) are sent to OpenStreetMap's public geocoding service as you type.

Don't use RevBook to submit fraudulent bookings, harass a mechanic or customer through the messaging system, or misrepresent your identity or credentials. We may suspend or remove accounts that abuse the platform.
RevBook is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We don't guarantee the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times, and we're not liable for losses caused by downtime, bugs, or third-party service outages (including payment, messaging, notification, or mapping providers we rely on).
RevBook is not liable for any damages, injuries, losses, or disputes arising from automotive services booked through our platform, or from delays or failures in notifications, reminders, or booking status updates. Use of RevBook is at your own risk.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform following any update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
